"The hotel rates average in my opinion. Check-in customer service was very friendly, however we were told are room was ready and when we got up to it, it clearly was not ready with towels laying all over the place, trash in the cans, and bed still unmade. So, we had to go back downstairs and was assigned a new room. The room itself was one of their suites. It was ok--I didn't like the way the bathroom is set up where there is the door to the bathroom on the hall side, but then where the tub is there is only a shower curtain separating the bathroom from the living room area (even loving couples need bathroom privacy at times). The sofa in the living room area had tears in the fabric lining so you could see the cushion underneath which should clearly have been replaced. In the bedroom, for a couple sharing a king/queen size bed you get one pillow each and the pillow was pretty flimsy--the mattress was fine though. While we were there the fire alarm went off one evening & there was not much communication from hotel staff to guests. Some guests were waiting outside & some sitting in lobby during this- none of us knowing if it was a real drill or a prank. Also, one night one very immature guest who had been drinking (and overheard to be smoking pot), went to the bathroom all over the floor of the snack area on our floor--it was unbelievable. The location of the hotel was excellent --walking distance to shopping, restaurants, sports stadiums, museums. My experience wasn't so terrible that it ruined my time...it is just an average hotel that is overpriced. I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend it, but at the same time I wouldn't tell someone to not stay there--the hotel staff at check-in and check-out again were very courteous."
