"The website says that you will get free parking, but the hotel will charge you. It is $12.00 a day, which is higher than many of the garages in the city. Also, we did not get our room cleaned the first day and when we called we were told someone would call and come up to clean while we were at dinner. When we came back, the room was still not cleaned. When we called the manager, we got 50% off one night of our stay. We also brought up the parking situation, and we got free parking. The staff was very courteous and attentive. The lobby and hallways were very clean and the continental breakfast was adequate and well maintained."

"I have mixed feelings about my stay...Had I known that the hotel was undergoing extensive renovation that required me to take "unusual" measures to access my hotel room, i.e., separate elevators, a dreary walk thru dimly-lit hallways, pass bank/business offices and boarded spaces, over raggedy carpet, thru a winding/long connection between the hotel and the garage parking, I would not chosen to stay there. For the first night's stay, the fitted sheet on one of the beds had a huge brownish stain located at the top that was disgusting, there were no washclothes, and the tub appeared to be dirty/stained.
On the positive side, the room was very nice - the tall ceilings and decor were pleasing and helped make the unpleasant features tolerable.
At this time, however, I would not recommend the hotel - particularly to any female staying alone. Security poses a potential risk in my opinion.
By the way, I did not bother the front desk for washclothes because it was very late at night when I realized the problem and didn't want to make staff (or myself) go thru the trouble of meandering the trek to get to the room....so I used the hand-towels instead."
