"This was the worst hotel that we've ever stayed in. Customer service was non-existent; we felt like intruders instead of guests. The free breakfast consisted of waffles and bread. We won't go there again, and would discourage others from doing so."

"The "continental breakfast" advertised was a total joke. There was ONE waffle iron for the entire hotel to use, and it was full that weekend! There was also some bread to make toast. No fruit, no yogurt, no hard-boiled eggs, no cereal, nothing... So inadequate! And the hotel management people were cleaning up regularly but said that nothing could be done to improve it! There was only one other breakfast restaurant within a mile.
The number of people in line (lots of families with kids) made this process a total disaster. The grumbling in the lobby area would have scared me if I were the owner/manager. I would strongly suggest improving the selection of breakfast items. We don't expect a full breakfast, but other items ARE expected.
The other complaint is that there were people smoking regularly in the rooms that were designated "No Smoking". Then, they would open their window and crack their door open and the smoke would funnel into the hallway. It smelled up the entire second floor.
I will never stay at a Days Inn again, and now all the people we were with (3 other families) just joke about Days Inns and won't stay there either."
